Brett Myers allowed seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits in five innings Wednesday, falling to 7-14 in Houston's 8-0 loss to the Cardinals. Myers had some plays not made behind in the field this evening, but certainly didn't look like the pitcher that went 4-0 with a 1.23 ERA in his first four September starts. For the year, he'll finish with a 4.46 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 160/57 K/BB ratio compiled over 216 innings. Hardly on par with his rock solid 2010, though he was much better after the All-Star break, going 4-5 with a 3.94 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 76/20 K/BB ratio in 96 innings. He'll be overpaid at $11 million in 2012, but should still be a plenty serviceable arm.
