Brett Anderson (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Saturday in Oakland. Anderson threw 96 pitches for Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, and could conceivably rejoin the Athletics depending on the results. Oakland has a surplus of starting pitching, but Anderson could be a big addition down the stretch. Dan Straily and Jarrod Parker are candidates to be replaced.
