Oakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin said starting pitcher Brett Anderson (forearm) is feeling better, and the left-hander could resume playing catch ahead of schedule. It's good news for Anderson, but he should still miss at least a week of action and maybe more. The southpaw has been surprisingly good for the A's this year, going 3-4 with a 4.02 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 34 strikeouts in 65 innings over 13 starts. However, it doesn't look like he'll offer up much fantasy value the rest of the way.
