Brett Anderson (elbow) will throw off the mound for the first time since surgery Monday. Anderson remains ahead of schedule in his return from Tommy John surgery and is hopeful to be back in the rotation by mid-August, but expectations for this year should be kept in check. He could reemerge as one of the game's top young lefties as soon as 2013.
