Brett Anderson (elbow) hopes to make a start in extended spring training next week. Anderson recently began throwing live batting practice and hopes to begin a minor league rehab assignment by the end of the month. Barring any setbacks with his surgically-repaired left elbow, he could rejoin the A's rotation as soon as late June or early July. Anderson could make for an interesting DL-stash in AL-only leagues.
