Brett Anderson (elbow) allowed two runs on four hits over two innings of work Saturday in his first rehab start with High-A Stockton. He also hit a batter and threw just 20 of 35 pitches for strikes. Anderson evidently came out of it fine physically, though, which is obviously the team's primary concern. The left-hander will likely use most, if not all, of the available 30 days on his rehab assignment before rejoining the rotation sometime in August.
