Brett Anderson (elbow) allowed four runs over four innings Thursday in a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento. Anderson, who is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, allowed seven hits (including a solo homer) while striking out none and walking none. He threw 35 out of 53 pitches for strikes. The southpaw allowed two runs over two innings in his first rehab start on Saturday and will likely need most of his 30-day rehab window to get ready. Barring any setbacks, look for him to join the A's rotation in late August.
