Brendan Ryan doubled and hit a grand slam in Seattle's 12-8 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday. The big afternoon increased Ryan's OPS from .647 to .666. Obviously still awful, but the owner of a .264 average and 32 RBI through his first 322 at-bats, he's not a horrendous AL-only league option.
