Brendan Ryan (back) is expected to need 10 more at-bats during his rehab assignment before being activated by the Yankees. Ryan has played in four games for High-A Tampa and will move up to Double-A Trenton on Friday. It sounds like he'll join the Yankees for their road trip beginning on Monday in Anaheim.
