Braves signed RHP Gavin Floyd to a one-year, $4 million contract. The deal also carries $4.5 million worth of incentives. Floyd is still in recovery from Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery and might not be available to the Braves until late May. The 30-year-old right-hander will try to rebuild his value once he makes it back. He had a 4.22 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in his seven years with the White Sox.
