Braves signed OF Greg Golson to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Gwinnett. Golson batted .244/.297/.401 with five homers and 12 steals over 55 games for the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate and also played one game for the independent league Lancaster Barnstormers. He hasn't appeared in the majors since 2011.
