Braves placed RHP Tim Hudson on the 15-day disabled list with a fractured right ankle. Hudson suffered the gruesome ankle fracture Wednesday when the Mets' Eric Young Jr. stepped flush across his leg at the first base bag. The veteran right-hander will undergo surgery when some of the swelling subsides and is not going to pitch again this season.
