Braves placed RHP Gavin Floyd on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 21. Signed to add starting pitching depth for the Braves this offseason, Floyd will now be relied upon to fill a much larger role with Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy lost for the season. He's still working his way back from Tommy John surgery, and is expected to be ready to join the Braves in May.
