Braves optioned RHP Cory Rasmus from Triple-A Gwinnett. The move clears a spot for Jordan Walden's return from the disabled list. Rasmus gave up five runs in 3 2/3 innings over two appearances during his brief stay with the club. He could get another shot in the Braves' bullpen later this summer.
