Braves designated RHP Livan Hernandez for assignment. Hernandez posted a 4.94 ERA and 1.55 WHIP over 18 appearances as a long man out of the Braves bullpen. While he's thoroughly unexciting, Livan shouldn't have trouble finding a new job with someone in need of rotation depth. He might have to settle for a minor league deal, though.
