Brantly was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Phil Rogers of MLB.com reports.

While Brantly turned in respectable numbers between Double-A and Triple-A this season (.310/.335/.483), it was only over a 53-game sample, and the White Sox have not suggested the 26-year-old will be more than the third catcher down the stretch. He's hit just .235/.298/.325 in 98 career games at the major league level.
