Brantley was held out of the lineup Sunday against the Orioles to rest his stiff back, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. It appears to be little more than a maintenance day for Brantley, who will be able to take advantage of two days of rest with the Indians off the schedule Monday. He's expected to be ready to play again Tuesday, when the Indians open up a series with the Mariners.
