Brantley (shoulder) could be cleared to play Sunday, but manager Terry Francona said a Monday return is more realistic, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

The team said initially after Brantley was scratched from Friday's lineup that the outfielder did not suffer any sort of setback, but Brantley is sitting again Saturday and it sounds like the odds are against him playing in the series finale against Kansas City. Mike Aviles starts in left field Saturday after Michael Martinez got the nod Friday.
