Brandon Workman's appeal of a six-game suspension will be heard on Friday. Workman was suspended six games by MLB and fined an undisclosed amount for throwing at Rays' third baseman Evan Longoria late last month. Even if the suspension is upheld, the right-hander will only have a start pushed back a bit.
