Brandon Phillips (heel) took batting practice prior to Tuesday's game but was held out of the lineup for the second straight day. Phillips exited Sunday's contest with a bone bruise after fouling a ball off his right heel. He's considered day-to-day and the fact that he was allowed to take BP and do other baseball activities suggests he should be back in the lineup soon.
