Brandon Moss went 3-for-3 with a homer, four RBI, and a run in the Athletics' 11-2 defeat of the Diamondbacks. A former top prospect, Moss is competing for a bench role after posting 23 home runs and an .877 OPS with the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate last season. Still, it's more likely than not he opens the year in the minors.
