Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy was placed on the disabled list on Thursday with right knee tendinitis. McCarthy was scheduled to start on Saturday, but the injury forces the Braves to find another starter. Matt Wisler was recalled from Triple-A and will presumably take McCarthy's spot in the rotation for Saturday's start against the Cardinals.
