Brandon McCarthy exited after allowing nine hits and four walks in four innings against the Yankees on Tuesday. It's the third straight subpar start for the right-hander, who now owns a 7.47 ERA and 2.04 WHIP on the year. He's a better real-life pitcher than fantasy pitcher, and when he's struggling like this it makes him virtually unusable. His next start, Sunday in Colorado, doesn't bode much better.
