San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt and catcher Joey Bart will both be on the bench at the start of their team's Friday night contest against the San Diego Padres. Belt will be replaced at first base by Wilmer Flores while Curt Casali will be behind the plate for the series opener against their divisional rivals. Both appear to be just regular days of rest for the respective Giants.
