Brad Hand yielded three runs on seven hits and two walks over 5 1/3 innings in Tuesday's loss to the Braves.
He struck out five. Hand was cruising along until the sixth, when Brian McCann followed a walk and a single with a three-run bomb. The left-hander has won just won of his 11 starts this year for the Marlins and holds an ugly 33/34 K/BB ratio over 56 innings. Assuming he gets another start, he'll carry a 4.02 ERA and 1.46 WHIP into this weekend's start against the Nats.
