Bleday started Oakland's first 11 games in August and posted an .898 OPS over the last six contests, but manager Mark Kotsay decided it was time for a day off. Bleday most frequently lined up in left field over the last week or so, but Esteury Ruiz will slide over and cover that spot Monday night.
