Bourjos (elbow) was activated by the team on Thursday and slotted into the starting lineup against the White Sox, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Bourjos will be manning left field and batting ninth during his first game back since May 28. It is a positive sign that the 30-year-old was able to return as soon as he was eligible to come off the 10-day disabled list, especially with a few rehab games under his belt.
