Boshers was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Since he was recalled in late May, Boshers has recorded more than a strikeout per inning (14 K in 13 IP). However, he's also only made four appearances in the last 13 games. In anticipation of activating Trevor May (back) from the disabled list Tuesday, Boshers will find himself back in the minors.
