Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune hears that the Royals are talking to the Dodgers about a Justin Maxwell-for-Dee Gordon swap. The Royals are in the market for a second baseman, so Gordon could make some sense at the position if they feel that Omar Infante will be too expensive in free agency. While the Dodgers already have plenty of outfielders, Maxwell is a capable bat against southpaws.
