Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star hears that the Royals are calling up left-hander Danny Duffy. Duffy is expected to start Wednesday against the Twins in place of Wade Davis, who was placed on the family medical emergency list over the weekend. In his first season back from Tommy John surgery, Duffy has a 4.14 ERA and 77/27 K/BB ratio in 63 innings over 12 starts and two relief appearances between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Triple-A Omaha. He could be worth a look as a streaming option in AL-only fantasy leagues.
