Blue Jays signed RHP Dustin McGowan to a two-year extension. Terms of the new contract have not been released, but Toronto holds a team option in Year Three. The 29-year-old right-hander was arbitration-eligible for the final time this past winter and thus set to hit the free agent market after the season. He's currently nursing a foot injury that might end his quest to win the Jays' fifth starter job.
