Blue Jays recalled INF-OF Mike McCoy from Triple-A Las Vegas. He'll take the place of David Carpenter on the active roster. McCoy appeared in eight games with the Blue Jays before the All-Star break, but has spent most of the season at the Triple-A level, batting .263/.384/.349 with three home runs, 31 RBI, 21 stolen bases and a .733 OPS in 348 plate appearances. He'll serve as bench depth.
