Blue Jays prospect RHP Aaron Sanchez arguably had his best start of the season since Opening Day on Sunday, as he allowed one earned run and struck out seven batters in 6 2/3 innings for Double-A New Hampshire. The 21-year-old's control and command was vastly improved in the outing, as he scattered four hits and allowed a season-best one walk. After struggling through May with a 6.66 ERA and 22 walks in 24 1/3 innings, Sanchez has now looked like his old self in back-to-back starts this month, as he's posted a 2.31 ERA and 14-3 strikeout-to-walk ratio in his last 11 2/3 frames. If the right-hander can continue to build off his recent success (his walk rate currently sits at 5.5 BB/9), then it's not crazy to think he'll be able to help the Blue Jays at some point later this season.
