Blue Jays designated RHP Sam Dyson for assignment. The move clears a spot for the newly-signed Mark DeRosa on the active roster. Dyson made two appearances with the Blue Jays last season and posted a 3.04 ERA and 38/20 K/BB ratio between High-A and Double-A. He could draw interest on waivers.
