Blue Jays designated RHP Chien-Ming Wang for assignment. The sinkerballer pitched pretty well in his first three starts for the Jays, but he lasted just 1 2/3 innings in each of his last two outings, including on Tuesday against the Tigers. Despite putting up a 7.12 ERA over five starts with Toronto, Wang shouldn't have trouble catching on elsewhere.
