Blue Jays and RHP Dustin McGowan avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $600,000 contract. McGowan made his way back to the big leagues for the first time since 2008 this past season, posting an ugly 6.43 ERA and 20/13 K/BB ratio over 21 innings. The 29-year-old right-hander was arbitration-eligible for the final time this winter.
