Bloomquist is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday morning, MLB.com's Greg Johns reports. Bloomquist's rehab hasn't been progressing as expected, so the infielder will now turn to surgery to correct the issue. His expected absence has yet to be announced, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss the remainder of the 2014 regular season.
