Blevins retired all three lefty hitters he faced Sunday to pick up his second hold of the season in the Mets' 4-3 win over the Braves. Blevins entered the game with one on and one out in the eighth and struck out Nick Markakis and Freddie Freeman. He then remained in the game to handle the opening batter of the ninth, the lefty-hitting A.J. Pierzynski, before giving the ball to Jeurys Familia for the save. Blevins should continue to serve as an eighth-inning bridge to whoever closes.
