Blanks has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with left and right Achilles tendinitis, John Ryan of the Rangers' Team Website reports. Blanks was a late scratch before Wednesday's game and was left out of the lineup Thursday due to tendinitis in both Achilles tendons. The Rangers recalled Anthony Ranaudo from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.
