Blanks (Achilles) is scheduled to play in his first spring game Tuesday, the Fort Worth Star Telegram's Stefan Stevenson reports. He had issues with both of his Achilles tendons dating back to the end of last season, so it is great to see him ready to get into game action early in Cactus League action. The Rangers have a lot of competitors for time in left field, but nobody who really stands out as a strong option, so there is a chance that Blanks could make the team as a part-time player out of camp.
