Blake Hawksworth (elbow) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment Friday with High-A Rancho Cucamonga. Hawksworth had surgery in January to remove a bone spur and scar tissue from his throwing elbow and later required a second procedure to clear up an infection. The 29-year-old right-hander will likely require a lengthy rehab assignment, so he appears doubtful to join the Dodgers' bullpen prior to the All-Star break.
