Blake Beaven was shelled for nine runs -- eight earned -- over 5 1/3 innings Saturday against the Indians. Beaven yielded 16 hits -- including two homers -- in the ugly outing. He now has an 8.52 ERA in five spring appearances, but the Mariners are still expected to roll with him as their No. 5 starter. Avoid him in fantasy leagues.
