Blackmon is on track to serve as the regular center fielder for the Rockies in 2015, MLB.com's Thomas Harding reports. Blackmon had to compete for the center field job last spring, but he'll face no such threats to the gig in 2015. Though the 28-year-old's production slowed in the second half of last season, he still finished with an impressive .288/.335/.440 line to go along with 19 homers, 28 steals, 82 runs, and 72 RBI, making him a legitimate five-category contributor. Expect Blackmon to pile up the counting stats as the leadoff hitter in a potent Rockies lineup, though his inferior numbers against lefty pitching make him somewhat susceptible to fall into a platoon with Drew Stubbs.
