Bill Ladson of MLB.com reports that the Nationals do not have interest in Mike Cameron, who was recently designated for assignment by the Red Sox. The Nats have been seeking help in center field all season, but evidently they don't feel that Cameron is the answer to their problems. Cameron hit just .149/.212/. 266 with three homers and nine RBI over 105 plate appearances with the Red Sox this season but should be able to find work after he clears waivers.
