Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca was told by agent Paul Cohen that his client, Tim Hudson, hopes to play for 2-3 more seasons. Hudson is 38 and coming off a fractured fibula and ruptured deltoid ligament, but that won't keep him from seeking a multi-year deal this winter. He is expected to be healthy for spring training and the Braves have expressed interest in retaining him. Hudson posted a solid 3.97 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 95/36 K/BB ratio in 131 1/3 innings this season for Atlanta before undergoing surgery in late July.
