Beltran went 2-for-4 with a homer and two runs against the Braves on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
He followed up Carlos Correa's first-inning long ball by making it back-to-back jacks, helping the Astros out to a fast start. Beltran has had a tough year, and he's been showing few signs of warming up, so this was nice to see out of him. At 40 years old, Beltran is obviously long past his prime, and although he's coming off a big 2016 season, he's showing every sign of being in precipitous decline, with that 3:32 BB:K particularly sticking out.
