Beltran went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI against the Orioles on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Not only does the 39-year-old slugger have 20 homers (one more than last season) and 60 RBI (just seven fewer than last season), he's accumulated those numbers while hitting a startling .304, his best average since he hit .325 over half a season in 2009. A trade chip at a number of deadlines past, Beltran once again looks like an appetizing option for a contender if the Yankees -- who are struggling to tread water around .500 -- decide to be sellers.
