Beltran went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, his 15th of the season, in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Sticking with his season's pattern, Beltran displayed power and struck out twice Tuesday. The 39-year-old's .277 ISO is better than it has been since 2006 when he was 29 and in his second MLB season. On the flip side, Beltran's 21 percent strikeout rate is far and away the worst of his career. Dealing with high K-rates is part of owning power hitters, and as long as your league doesn't penalize batters for whiffs, then Beltran should be considered a top option across most formats.
