Beltran (quad) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Astros, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Beltran suffered a left quad contusion during Saturday's contest, and given the high-quality depth the Rangers have on the bench in combination with the fact that Beltran is 39 years old, it's not surprising that he'll sit out. His injury isn't believed to be significant, so Beltran could return at some point during the series with the Rockies that begins Monday at Coors Field.
