Almonte (elbow) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Almonte has been out with an elbow injury since early August. He should have time to make it back for at least a handful of appearances this season, though it's unclear exactly when the Dodgers expect him to return.
